BEcause every human has a story, Let me help tell yours.

I’m 22 years old, based in New York City, currently a photography major and communications design minor at Parsons School of Design.

I am a lover of moments and have a passion for creating digital art to document stories- whether that be through photography, graphic design, or videography. I do (almost) all the things - working with individuals, brands, creatives, and entrepreneurs to help transform an idea into a visual reality.

This stems from my experience as a child growing up in an immigrant household where stories were shared, celebrated, and thoroughly visually archived. I intend to transform the narratives I have experienced, as well as ones that others share, and want to shift from an intangible idea to a concept that has found its perfect form. As I pursue these aims, I continually explore Adobe software and other asset creation techniques, going as far as animation work, coding, and more, pushing the boundaries of what pursuing photographic work can entail.

Like most first-generation Indians, I was encouraged to have a “stable career” and not pursue the creative visionary within me because it was “just a hobby.” My path took a turn when I signed up for a high school photography class and discovered a love for capturing the world around me. With the encouragement of creative teachers, I explored various art forms, gaining confidence in my ability to tell stories visually. What started as an after-school activity quickly grew into a passion that felt essential, something beyond a 'hobby.'

But now, I want to take my passion one step further.

A brown girl trying to break into the industry and make a name for herself without previous connections; something not many Indian women have been able to do. I want to be able to say that this is "my stable career.”

My hopes for the future include being a creative director, working with brands and individuals to create visual stories that will perform years from now and leave behind a legacy within the entertainment and music industry.

And for the past 8 years, I have been taking steps to do just that: whether it be filming sports videos during high school that become the most re-shared content in my hometown, to shooting alongside luxury fashion brands on ad campaigns, and now a full-service company that generates all things digital.

When I’m not working on my laptop for hours, exploring my home (NYC, personally, the greatest city in the world), or producing collaborative art with all the lovely people I have met at Parsons, I still desire to be immersed in art. Most likely, I’m listening to every kind of music genre, reading any book I can get my hands on, and my favorite activity of all, writing short stories and poetry.

I still have so much to learn about running a business and mastering my craft, however, my final goal is being able to make creative concepts feel confident, able to stand alone as a work of art that stemmed from a mere thought. To me, the key is to capture that moment, journey, or memory while still providing quality content that is essential to the client.
