The Observer

A Short Film

The Observer is a short film that explores the tension between nature and artifice within New York City’s urban landscape. Filmed in Central Park, it reflects on how human and natural behaviors persist within constructed environments that mimic serenity yet remain inherently artificial. Accompanied by Lang Leav’s poem “The Great Plan” and layered with ambient park sounds intertwined with Gaux’s instrumental track “Air Filled with Glory,” the film centers itself around surrendering to the structures & cycles we cannot control, yet finding peace in our place within them.
