This saddle stitched, thread bound, risographed recipe zine explores the intersection of traditional Indian flavors and American comfort food favorites. In collaboration with recipe contributors like The Chutney Life, I helped craft a visual and culinary narrative celebrating the evolution of taste across generations.
Each recipe features CMYK separated, half toned imagery, paired with typography choices, including Epical Comeback, Josefin Sans, and Adobe Caslon Pro, that reinforce the dialogue between heritage and modernity. The book serves as a love letter to the mothers who carried their heritage across oceans, preserving family recipes with devotion, while their children navigated the blend of two worlds.
